Kaden Pompel's practice has taken him to and fro - from short courses via Central Saint Martins and RISD, to an impressionist atelier in Lawrence, MA, to Pratt Institute in NY, to Polimoda in Florence, IT, and finally to the conclusion that his own fruition came with solitude and the subsequent decision to leave school and work in semi-isolation. This semi-isolation has brought forth the portfolio that he now attempts to present to the public.
StatementMy images arise from constant influence of every image in his catalogue, his own philosophy, and his recognition and aid of his own philosophical hypocrisy. In this context it opens up as a diary of the unconscious, and then of a proposal on interaction and meditation.
